Hi,

You can query first day and last day of current month like this:

select trunc(trunc(sysdate,'MM'),'MM') "First Day of This Month",
       trunc(add_months(trunc(sysdate,'MM'),1)-1,'DD') "Last Day of This Month"
from dual;

try and pray :)
