RMAN-20033: control file sequence# too low

Hi,

If you hit this error, your control file is not synchronized to rman catalog.

So, connect to rman

$ rman

RMAN> connect target /  (or you can connect by any rman privileged user explained in

https://doganay.wordpress.com/2011/10/27/rman-user-and-catalog-user-necessary-grants/

)

RMAN> connect catalog mycataloguser@mycatalogdb

RMAN> resync catalog;

Probably this does not work, so you must restore problematic schema into catalog database.

imp owner=….

try again;

RMAN> resync catalog;

now it succeed..

try and pray 🙂
