Problem:

usb device not recognized one of the usb devices attached to this computer


Solution:

start-->run-->devmgmt.msc
Scan for hardware changes
Restart computer
 If it does not work: 
start-->run-->devmgmt.msc
Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers
Right-click the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click Uninstall to remove it.
 If it does not work: 
start-->run-->regedit
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\USB
(if it does not exist, create it)
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD.
Type DisableSelectiveSuspend, and then press ENTER.
On the Edit menu, click Modify.
In the Value data field, type 1 to disable the Selective Suspend feature, and then click OK.
 If it does not work: 
Most probably, your have a hardware failure. Contact manufacturer.
