ORA-30036: unable to extend – undo tablespace when inserting

Problem:

insert into table1 ...

ORA-30036: unable to extend segment...


Solution:

1)

Simply use nologging:

insert into table1 nologging ...

or

2)

extend undo tablespace

or

3)

change undo tablespace:

alter system set undo_tablespace=undotbs2;

create a new session and run your insert again.
