Error: access to the client was not allowed(59) – Netbackup Error

Problem:

(59) access to the client was not allowed

Cause:

check bp.conf (/usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf)

make sure that multiple

SERVER, CLIENT_NAME or MEDIA_SERVER do not exist.

Solution:

correct your bp.conf and restart daemon:

/etc/init.d/netbackup stop
/etc/init.d/netbackup start
