ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-01003: no statement parsed

Problem:

ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-01003: no statement parsed


Cause:

An empty cursor is created and called before passing any SQL to it.

Solution:

Do the SQL call, for example, OSQL, to pass the required SQL statement before referencing the cursor.
